I made this project using excerpts from the book "If The Beale Street Could Talk" by James Baldwin to make a short story with classical book proportions as the book’s layout.

To get a better understanding of the novel, I decided to listen to the audio book while I worked with my design. I combined image making techniques with simple typesetting for each page of my design.
